A Trey 6 Mafia outgrowth, Prophet Posse features members of that Memphis, TN, grouping -- Gangsta Hoot, Indo G, Koopsta Knicca -- along with many of their Southern and Middle west peers. Masterminds Juicy "J" and DJ Paul playact a big role in the grouping, both because of their musical comedy contributions and alike because the group is named subsequently their Seer label. Their 1998 debut, Body Parts, emphasised gory wildness and featured contributions by the Dayton Family.
